Job Opportunity: Paid Digital Media Specialist

Page Zero Media seeks a Paid Digital Media Specialist.

Working with our world-renowned team of PPC specialists and related digital marketing professionals, the Paid Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for helping our clients expand their customer acquisition horizons beyond Google AdWords and Bing Ads.

The candidate should have specific skills demonstrating a track record of running digital advertising campaigns in a complex, auction-based environment such as Google AdWords, Facebook, the Google Display Network, and beyond. The candidate should bring a passionate interest in detailed deployment of the newest available campaign channels (eg. Twitter, Facebook, various forms of behavioral and contextual campaigns, LinkedIn, and other specialized channels). So while work experience is important, so is a shared assumption that we’ll be blazing new paths to ensure clients are exposed to new opportunities.

The candidate should expect to locate in a geographic area suitable to working in the Toronto office on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least two years’ work experience in digital marketing
  • A related/complementary postsecondary degree or diploma
  • Strong analytical and math skills; a grasp of marketing KPIs
  • A passion for making advertising more relevant to people’s needs
  • The ability to test, test, test, iterate, iterate, iterate
  • A grasp of statistical significance in testing, or the willingness to ask: what the hell is that and how do I do it right?
  • Experience in related reporting tools and report creation
  • Strong curiosity about online behavior, intent, and purchase behavior
  • A grasp of campaign strategies and creative messaging
  • Google AdWords certification
  • Other online marketing certifications or credentials, if applicable

Candidates with one year or more of related work experience, plus the other relevant credentials, may be considered at an appropriate entry-level salary.
