Although industry recognition in itself won’t get the job done, it’s an important indicator of agency quality, in our humble opinion. Here are some of the ways we’ve contributed to the development of the SEM industry.
Conference Speaking Engagements
We continue to be active on the conference circuit. By focusing on the credibility of what we’re teaching, we also learn. Some of our latest speaking gigs include:
Andrew Goodman, Page Zero’s president, keynoted HeroConf in Portland on April 28, 2015. The topic was “10 Hidden Risks in Your PPC Account.”
Mona Elesseily, our VP of Online Marketing Strategy, recently put on a killer performance at Pubcon in Las Vegas. Her topic was “21 Biggest PPC Mistakes.”
In addition to a long history of speaking at well-known industry events like SMX, SES, and eMetrics Summit, we’ve partnered with organizations like Microsoft, Century 21, Canadian Marketing Association, and American Marketing Association for custom talks.
Andrew’s personal speaking record is 48 consecutive SES conferences in North America!
Page Zero is headed by pioneering search marketer Andrew Goodman, author of Winning Results With Google AdWords (McGraw-Hill, 2005, 2008). The book has been translated into French, Chinese, and Spanish, among others.
Andrew, Mona, and SEO Director Marios Alexandrou have written extensively for trade publications such as Search Engine Land, Huffington Post, and ClickZ, racking up several hundred columns on topics as diverse paid search, SEO, and social media.
We’ve advised some of the smartest companies in the space – typically, MarTech firms like Acquisio, Clickable, and GShift Labs.
We’re currently on the advisory board of Acquisio. Clickable, an SMB PPC management platform with an intuitive interface, was sold to Syncapse in 2012. A version of the Clickable product, American Express OPEN SearchManager, was licensed by American Express OPEN, a provider of tools and insights to SMB’s. Andrew served as Adviser to SearchManager.
Partnerships & Honors
We’re a Google Partner Agency. Over the years, we’ve not only written about Google AdWords, we’ve attended a wide variety of consultative Google events, met with product managers, and kept in touch with the Google zeitgeist.
We’re one of the few PPC agencies on Moz’s exclusive recommended SEO vendor list.
We’re often invited to influencer events. The last one Andrew attended was Bing Ads Next, an influencer event on Microsoft’s Redmond campus for a select few digital advertising strategists from the agency, software, and client ecosystem.
