Andrew Goodman
Founder & Principal

As noted in our company history, Andrew got caught up in a little dot com fever in 1998, co-started Traffick.com in 1999, began soliciting consulting clients in 2001 and released a Google AdWords Handbook in March, 2002 that spurred Page Zero’s growing expertise in paid search campaign management and related services.

From 2002-2007, Goodman acted as one of the leading voices in the search marketing industry, speaking and moderating at countless industry conferences, gaining notoriety in the business press and trade publications, writing influential articles and cheeky blog posts, and networking incessantly. Page Zero’s client base is an active and diverse group, from hungry startups and growing e-commerce companies, to niche B2B projects, to well known brands like Torstar, E*TRADE, PayPal, CareerBuilder, and Canadian Tire.

In 2005, he published Winning Results with Google AdWords (McGraw-Hill; 2nd ed. 2008), considered the leading resource in the field. In 2007 (and signed through 2009), he is Chair of Search Engine Strategies Toronto, a key stop on the conference circuit.

Prior to taking the entrepreneurial path, Goodman was overeducated in political science. He holds a four-year B.A. (with distinction) from the University of Toronto, an M.A. in Political Science from York University, Toronto and nearly finished a Ph.D. in Political Science at York University, holding lecturer level positions at York University and Trent University, focusing on political theory and policy studies.

Prior to all this, he was one of those geeky kids who rushed out to buy the first Commodore 64, and was a competitive cross country skier and participant in (“award-winning,” of course) high school theatre.

In addition to his full time role with Page Zero, Andrew is a co-founder and current Chief Strategy Officer with HomeStars.com, an angel-funded startup focusing on rich user-generated content for homeowners seeking information about home improvement companies and projects.

Andrew lives in Toronto with wife Carolyn. He barely tolerates the punk sales clerks who try to sell him “dad jeans” and last year’s inline skates.


Dean Towers

Director of Client Services

Dean has been with Page Zero since inception and is responsible for much of the day to day workings of Page Zero's consulting arm. He specializes in account management and strategy for clients, through both hands-on work and overseeing Page Zero's account representatives when needed. Although Dean's has headed up projects that have included mission-critical work for large corporate clients such as Capital One, E*Trade Financial, PayPal, and Careerbuilder.com (UK), he also enjoys working with smaller niche clients, anxious to grow their businesses.

Dean believes that when a client chooses Page Zero, that client's business must be treated like it is his own. That philosophy is conveyed to our growing team.

Previously, Dean held consulting positions in the corporate finance and investor relations field. He mainly worked with start-ups and high-growth firms which have needed expertise in business plans, financing, and corporate relations. Dean earned a four-year B.Comm. degree from the University of Toronto.

He surveys the landscape of opportunity from atop his condo in the High Park area of Toronto. Dean enjoys playing golf, but being busy at work has made him give up his goal of being a star Senior Tour golfer when he turns 50. He plans to shoot his age when he turns 90 - hopefully, while managing a couple of campaigns on a BlackBerry in between shots.


Mona Elesseily

Director of Marketing Strategy

At Page Zero Media, Mona focuses on paid search strategy and conversion improvement. In her career, she has significantly improved campaign performance for large brands such as Capital One, CareerBuilder.com, Cathay Pacific, as well as medium to large retailers and high-tech B2B-enterprise niches.

Mona is considered by many the authority on the Yahoo! Search Marketing platform. She's just completed the world's only guide to Yahoo! Search Marketing (a.k.a. Overture) called "Mastering Panama: A special report on Yahoo!'s new search marketing platform" (August 2007).

Mona is a regular speaker at marketing conferences. She's a columnist at SearchEngineLand.com and contributes to a variety of other publications on marketing related issues. Her industry knowledge is regularly sought after by the business community, including Wall Street analysts; and she is frequently quoted in marketing industry publications.

Mona earned a B.A. from Simon Fraser University. She's based in Vancouver, British Columbia and enjoys West Coast activities such as yoga and hiking.


Cory Kleinschmidt

Director of Web Development

As Director of Web Development, Cory specializes in Page Zero's conversion improvement services, which include SEO, Landing Page Testing and Site Design Refresh. He takes time to understand our clients' business and marketing objectives, employing creativity and years of past project data to improve client ROI.

Cory has been associated with Andrew Goodman since 1999, when the pair co-founded Traffick.com, the respected search marketing industry portal. In the past 10 years, he has served as Director of Internet Services for a mid-sized healthcare investment group in Atlanta, where he led the internet marketing division. Under his leadership, the company built a network of physician job boards that helped increase the company's annual revenue from $10 million to $100 million in just five years. He has also worked as a multimedia developer, web designer and newspaper copy editor.

In 2002, he co-created Vino.com, a wine lifestyle portal for consumers. He believes that after a long day of work and being a father, it is his right to enjoy a glass of wine. Ok, maybe two glasses, but who's counting?

Cory holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Missouri. He lives in St. Louis in a restored Craftsmen-style house built in 1911 with his wife and three children.
