Page Zero Privacy Policies & Legally Necessary Statements
Page Zero does not like legalese. We do feel strongly about protecting
your privacy, however, and our payment processors, and other stakeholders,
require that our policies be spelled out explicitly.
Privacy
We believe in strict standards to maintain the privacy of our client,
customer, user, and subscriber data. Your personal data is never
disclosed to a third party.
In connection with subscriptions, book sales, ebook sales, and other
content related business, Page Zero has partnered with at least three
different third party processors to process payments and to administer
email delivery. Your email address, postal address, and other personal
information is never used by anyone but Page Zero, and then, only
on terms agreed by you. Full “unsubscribe” options are
available as a matter of course with our email newsletters, administered
by Topica. Unsubscribe information is clearly marked in all email
footers.
Page Zero’s services division typically receives payment from
valued clients via check or credit card. We, along with any related
payment processing providers, take appropriate steps to protect client
data security, and we never divulge private information to any third
party.
Website Visitors and Privacy
In keeping with contemporary Internet convention, this website may
employ cookies in order to track user behavior so we better understand
metrics like time spent on site, and the effectiveness of various
marketing campaigns. Individual user sessions are never linked to
identifiable parties, and no user data is ever shared with any third
party. Currently, we use tracking tools such as Google Analytics,
Enquisite, and ConversionRuler. This may change from time to time.
Such analytics software tools set “cookies” on the user’s
computer, depending on browser privacy settings, which are customizable
by the user.
All Internet users should be aware that their privacy is not total.
Many websites, including this one, can identify your presence and
geographic location by your IP address. Page Zero never shares this
information with any third party.
No, we cannot see you in your underwear, but just in case, consider
keeping your webcam set to “off.”
Shipping Policy
Page Zero does not “ship” goods as a matter of course.
The majority of our business is in consulting services. Our digital
products are based on download on demand. Occasionally, we produce
print materials; in these cases, fulfillment is handled by third
parties such as Cafepress. Please refer to their shipping policies.
Refund Policy
Page Zero’s refund policies on publications are consistent
with those offered by our third-party payment processors, Cafepress
and Clickbank.
In connection with the service division, the terms of Page Zero’s
service agreements vary, and therefore, so do financial obligations.
There is no blanket refund policy that can be stated in connection
with varied private consulting agreements without compromising the
privacy of our contracts. Many but not all contracts allow for “exit” or “cancellation” with
30 days’ notice by either party. This does not constitute a
refund.
Currency Payment Options
Page Zero accepts payment in $USD and $CAD for its services. Payment
options for publications depend on the policies of third party processors
such as Cafepress and Clickbank. Services payments are processed
via check, credit card, or wire transfer. For service-related credit
card transactions we currently employ a provider called Optimal Payments
for merchant services; this is subject to change. |
